The LIS Department will be well-represented at the upcoming UNCG Graduate Student Research Expo. The Expo will take place Thursday, April 23, from 8am – 11am in the Elliot University Center’s Cone Ballroom.

Kathelene Smith and Katherine Sun will give a research presentation at 9:30am on “Designing Web Sources for High School and Middle School Students – The STARS Alliance Project.” Two groups of students will share their research through posters at the university-wide expo: Teresa Shaw, Dan Martensen, and David Gwynn will present “Organizational Library Management” (8:00-9:15am) and┬áMargaret Smith and Melinda Livas will present “Increasing LIS Diversity” (9:30-10:45am). Both posters will be available for viewing throughout the expo; the times given indicate when members of the group will be present to discuss their research.

We are proud of the hard work that our students put into their research – please come out and support them at the Expo!
