We are pleased to note that the MLIS program offered by the Department of Library and Information Studies has been ranked 29th among the ALA accredited programs in the United States in the latest survey published by the US News and World Report of the fifty-one programs considered.

We share this ranking in a tie with four other programs: the University of Arizona, the University of Hawaii—Manoa, the University of Missouri, and the University of South Florida.  We are in good company.

The University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill shares the first place spot with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
